Poddy - Your smart and fast Podcast App for Instant, Reliable Listening

Poddy is a modern podcast player built for speed, simplicity, and rock-solid reliability. Whether you listen on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, Poddy makes it effortless to discover, play, and manage your favorite shows - with powerful features that make listening better than ever.

After years of frustration with other podcast apps, I built Poddy to fix the problems no one else seemed to solve: instant playback, flawless device sync, smart queues, and reliable Apple Watch support.

- Why Poddy is Different -

. Instant Play - Stream any episode instantly. No need to subscribe, download, or set up a playlist - just tap and listen, like Spotify or Netflix.
. Perfect Sync - Move seamlessly between iPhone and Apple Watch without losing your place. Ideal for workouts, runs, and commutes.
. Powerful Play Queue - Quickly add, reorder, or remove episodes so you can switch between topics on the fly.
. Smart Recommendations - Personalized suggestions based on your listening habits, time of day, and even location.
. Podcasts-Only Experience - Keep your podcasts separate from your music streaming apps for a distraction-free library.

- Advanced Playback Features -

. Volume Boost - Enhance quiet episodes with a built-in audio compressor that increases clarity without distortion.
. Sleep Timer - Fall asleep to your favorite shows without worrying about losing your place.
. Playback Speed Control - Speed up or slow down voices to match your perfect pace.
. Skip Silence - Automatically remove long pauses and dead air so you can finish episodes faster.

- Apple Watch Podcast App That Actually Works -

Most podcast apps either skip Apple Watch support or fail at syncing. Poddy delivers reliable offline playback and accurate position syncing:

. Go for a run with just your Watch - no iPhone needed.
. Listen at the gym while your phone stays in a locker.
. Come back and resume exactly where you left off on your iPhone.

This is the feature that inspired Poddy’s creation, and it’s been engineered for maximum reliability within Apple’s system limits.

- Offline Listening, Anywhere -

Download episodes for travel, workouts, or any time you’re offline. Poddy keeps them ready to play instantly - with all your queue and position data synced for when you reconnect.

- Made for Podcast Lovers -

Poddy isn’t from a big corporation - it’s a passion project by someone who listens to podcasts every day and wanted a better experience. Every feature is built to solve real-world listening problems.
